How to Apply Your AURA Products Without Pigment

Step 1: Shampoo, focusing on your scalp.
Whether or not you use a lot of styling products, giving your scalp a little TLC is always a good idea—plus, it’s uber relaxing. Our Specialist, Ali, recommends adding a bit of personalized Shampoo to your scalp and hairline, and then massaging your Shampoo into these areas for 30 seconds. After focusing on your scalp and hairline, give those areas a quick rinse before shampooing your full head of hair.
This approach to shampooing helps remove build up if you use a lot of styling products, and if you don’t, it’s a perfect moment for self care.
Step 2: Condition your midlengths and ends.
This is your moment to indulge and let your strands soak up the benefits of your personalized Conditioner. Regardless of your hair type, your scalp and roots will typically hold onto oils, and your midlength and ends will tend to be on the drier side. Because of this, be sure to thoroughly comb your Conditioner through your hair, focusing on your midlength and ends.
Let the product sit for 2-4 minutes, depending on your personalized instructions, and give your hair an invigorating massage. Take in all the notes of your chosen aroma and settle into that uplifting sensory experience while you wait to rinse.

Our Specialist, Sarah, recommends applying your Masque liberally to clean, dry hair or wet hair post-shampoo and condition. How you choose to apply it is up to you, just be sure to let it sit for up to 10 minutes while you turn up some music and get your dance on for best results. Then rinse and go.
