How To Apply AURA Semi-Permanent Pigments

We want to start off this guide by explaining it is a guide and you can use your pigmented masque as you desire – your Ritual, your rules. These are some ideas that you can use as inspiration to create the look you are wanting to achieve. Just a note: our semi-permanent colors are not designed to cover up existing demi-permanent or permanent colors, cover grays or be a root touch-up. Look #1: All Over Application
This application is pretty self-explanatory but if you need extra tips, you can check out our full guide here. This will be your color all over from root to tip. You can do a variation of this by starting a few inches from the root and going to the ends too.
Look #2: Streak/Money Piece
Our next application idea is to color streak/sections of your hair. One fun choice is the money piece look, shown off in our Rocket Popsicle Money Piece look.
Look #3: Peek-A-Boo Sections
If you are wanting to do a small peek-a-boo section of your hair on the underside of your hair, simply clip up the rest of your hair leaving that section fully exposed. You will want to leave that section separated from the rest of your hair until dry to avoid color transfer.
Look #4: Coloring Just the Ends
Your masque can be placed exactly where needed, so apply away! If you have other colors on your hair, just be careful not to overlap as the colors may mix. Some colors, such as red and blue come together to create a wonderful secondary color (purple). Some however, such as green and red, do not.
